The Gamer's Haven has been Providing gamemasters and players alike with tips, tricks, and tales from the gaming table of Ethan, Nathan, and Jeremy. The Gamer's Haven podcast launched in November of 2006, and is still going strong (despite some minor setbacks here and there). Our goal is to provide gamers of all kinds with a place, a "Haven" if you will, where you can feel welcome and feel comfortable sharing your views on gaming. Our hobby is a rich, dynamic interest, and there are a lot of things to talk about when it comes to gaming. In geek culture, you can have serious discussions about Star Wars, Star Trek, and the Lord of the Rings, and this is what we're trying to capture on The Gamer's Haven. So sit back, relax, and enjoy some gaming conversation that will hopefully kickstart a new game, enliven an ongoing game, or just make you smile! On this site, you will find our episode archives on the right, or you can go to the main archives via the link on the right. Browse our ecclectic mix of links, promos, Gallery, or sign our feedback guestbook. Got something to say? E-Mail us! We're always looking for a few good Random Encounters. If you like the show, feel free to subscribe by clicking on the Feed link to the right, or by subscribing to us via iTunes or Feedburner. Alternately, feel free to drop by our site regularly and download new episodes manually. Looking for actual play? Actual play is audio recordings of actual game sessions. Check out our Game Recordings section and feel free to listen to a few sessions from various game systems. It's a great way to get ideas, be entertained, and to get a good idea of what a game system is like. |

Ethan has been gaming for almost two decades, ever since his brother handed me a copy of the Marvel Super Heroes RPG during his fifth grade year. That drove him down a sprial of decadence, dice rolling, and dungeon masterring. He's currently studying to be a vile, earth-crawling lawyer, and lives with his little dog, too in Kansas City. He maintins this website and edits the shows together, so if they're late ... blame ethan. |

This is Jeremy. At least, that's what we think "Oooka ting tang ooka," means. He's been gaming for one less year than Ethan, no matter what he says. He's been GMing for most of that time. He has ran AD&D, White Wolf, and many others for his many brothers, and continues to run games in his home-made Theyra universe to this day. He lives with his lovely wife, Robin, and their dog, Jinx. |

Nathan's been gaming for almost as long as Ethan and Jeremy, but has been a player for most of his gaming life. He's much more into GMing now. He lives with his lovely wife, Rebecca, in their shiny new house, with their three hellcats, Boris, Mishka, and Evie. |

Those of you who listen to the show, know that our beloved mascott, Paul the Mansquito, has found love in the appendages and mandible of Paulita, the mansquita. These two were married by the honorable Reverened Bartholemew Holder on Sunday, May 11th, 2008. Aren't they a cute couple? |

Some of you may be wondering why we chose "Canadiancrusaders.com" for our website ... Well, aside from the fact that gamershaven.com was already registered, we chose to use the name of our favority superhero team as the basis for our website address. it's unusual, it's original, and it's catchy. Yes, it is true, we are a bunch of Kansas boys (go Jayhawks!), and none of us have actually been to Canada, but we all know, living in the "great" state of Kansas, that we're not Canadian, but we could be. So, here are a few random reasons we chose Canadiancrusaders.com as our website, so feel free to roll on the random table below.
